RTC Module (DS3231 / DS1307)

The RTC (Real Time Clock) Module like DS3231 or DS1307 keeps accurate time even when the main power is off, thanks to its onboard coin cell battery. It’s commonly used in time-based automation, data logging, and IoT systems.

How It Works?

The RTC communicates with microcontrollers via the I²C (SDA, SCL) interface. It maintains seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years using an internal crystal oscillator and backup battery.
